Beyond certification, ISC2 operates through its charitable division, the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, which is focused on educating vulnerable populations about cyber safety, increasing awareness of cyber risks, and encouraging diverse communities to pursue careers in cybersecurity. This inclusive approach is central to ISC2’s mission to create a safer cyber world by fostering diverse perspectives and cultivating an environment where all members feel a sense of belonging and authenticity.

This involves close collaboration with production teams, marketing, and member engagement divisions to maximize audience acquisition and ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful events across the globe.

Leading the Americas Events team, this manager will provide governance and direction, facilitating annual planning initiatives, managing budgets, and conducting detailed analyses of event performance metrics including revenue, expenses, and attendee feedback. They will develop scalable processes and standard operating procedures to optimize team operations and promote balanced workloads while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture reflective of ISC2’s values.

Operationally, this role requires adept management of the event technology ecosystem, including vendor partnerships and data integrations with CRM systems. The Senior Events Manager must stay abreast of the latest trends in event management and cybersecurity to maintain best practices and leverage innovative solutions that enhance event delivery and participant engagement. Additionally, this position demands flexibility to support extended event hours, occasional domestic travel up to 20%, and the physical requirements of event setups such as lifting up to 30 pounds.
