Job Requirements

- minimum 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage or related area
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong communication skills
- effective time management
- knowledge of banquet service standards
- capability to coordinate event logistics and room setups
- understanding of financial controls and asset protection
- availability to attend events and meetings
- proficiency in training and developing staff

Job Duties
- Attend pre-event meetings to understand group needs
- establish consistent standards for meeting room sets and VIP suites
- conduct function room inspections prior to each function
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- act as liaison between Banquets, Event Planning, Event Technology teams and clients
- project supply needs for the department
- coordinate routine maintenance of facilities
- solve problems and suggest alternatives as needed
- attend and participate in meetings
- lead shifts and actively service events
- ensure function rooms meet Event Service Standards and customer requirements
