Job Requirements
- College degree required
- 2+ years management or supervisory experience
- Previous luxury wedding sales experience required
- Experience in rooms or food and beverage division preferred
- Strong knowledge of mountain resort market sales
- Proficient with operational software including PowerPoint, Ideas, Excel, Word, Outlook, FO system, Opera
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Must be a team player
- Must have current work authorization in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous luxury wedding sales experience
- College degree preferably
- 2+ years management or supervisory experience in rooms or food and beverage division preferably in a luxury setting
- Strong knowledge of selling and competing with other mountain resorts and destinations
- Ability to utilize computerized operational systems including PowerPoint, Ideas, Excel, Word, Outlook, FO system, Opera, and ideally Salesforce (Golden Sales & Catering)
- Self-starter and problem solver
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills with a strong sense of quality and creative mindset
- Ability to multi-task effectively managing multiple projects and priorities
- Good business acumen
- Vigilant attention to detail, service orientation
- Versatile, flexible, stress management skills

Job Duties
- Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving quarterly sales goals
- Conduct property tours and entertain planners of meetings, social events, and weddings
- Plan assigned groups with excellence in detailing food and beverage, resort services, reservations, and group movements
- Coordinate the sales efforts between the sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues
- Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication with all departments for the success of the event
- Oversee the execution of banquet events to ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all events in tandem with banquet and culinary team
- Act as the liaison for all vendor and supplier related clients' needs
- Make timely and impromptu decisions balancing client needs with financial, safety, and staffing goals of the hotel
- Find solutions to challenges and glitches that arise while groups are on property and keep director of sales and events and planning committee informed
