Job Description

The Atlanta National League Baseball Club, LLC, widely recognized as the proud home of the Atlanta Braves, stands as a pillar of excellence in the sports and entertainment industry. This organization is committed to offering fans a premier experience that extends far beyond the game. Renowned for its dynamic atmosphere and deep connection to the community, the club not only excels on the field but also through an innovative approach to event management and fan interaction that sets the standard in the realm of professional sports venues. This commitment positions the Atlanta National League Baseball Club as a leader in delivering engaging, memorable, and impactful events that foster loyalty and passion among its diverse audiences.

The position of Senior Event Manager at the Atlanta National League Baseball Club represents a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive event strategy that resonates across multiple audiences. This senior-level leader is entrusted with the operational and strategic oversight of the asset’s event programming, including the stewardship of signature annual events, attendance-driving initiatives such as a paid on-site 5K, curated partner events, and the creation of new proprietary event series. The Senior Event Manager plays a vital role in enriching customer engagement and reinforcing the club’s competitive positioning in a crowded entertainment landscape.

As a working leader, this individual will be intimately involved in the planning, coordination, and seamless execution of events, while simultaneously leading a high-performing team of coordinators. Critical to success in this role is the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships, which include cross-departmental collaboration with marketing, operations, sponsorship, security, and tenant partners. The Senior Event Manager must ensure flawless execution for both third-party and proprietary events, maintaining superior standards of professionalism, brand integrity, and operational excellence.

The event portfolio under the Senior Event Manager’s purview is diverse, encompassing established recurring events, community-centric initiatives, sponsorship-backed programming, and forward-thinking series designed to elevate the asset’s brand presence and drive measurable results. This role demands a leader who can translate high-level strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring that events deliver tangible increases in traffic, tenant sales impact, sponsorship value, and long-term differentiation for the brand. With a minimum requirement of seven years of progressive experience and three years of direct people management – overseeing at least two direct reports – the ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex event strategies and delivering sustained, measurable growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Events, the Senior Event Manager will lead a team of three coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.

Success in this role requires a combination of executive presence, creative vision, analytical rigor, and operational discipline. The Senior Event Manager must thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, maintaining a solution-oriented mindset while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and visually, paired with advanced organizational skills and financial acumen, is essential. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the most respected and celebrated brands in sports, while driving innovation in event programming that enhances fan experiences and supports the overall business objectives of the Atlanta National League Baseball Club.
