Job Requirements

  • Strong logistical and operational knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum six years of event management experience focusing on sports and entertainment
  • Proven success in planning and executing large-scale events
  • Strong knowledge of event logistics, production, and operations
  • Excellent budget management and financial skills
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Proficiency in event management software is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday work

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of sports and entertainment events
  • Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Manage vendor, supplier, and contractor relationships
  • Oversee venue operations during events ensuring smooth transitions
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams
  • Develop and manage event budgets tracking expenses and financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and licensing
  • Coordinate security, medical, and emergency services
  • Manage on-site logistics including setup and teardown
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and feedback analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
