Job Description
Just Right! is a distinguished destination management company established in 2011 that offers a unique boutique approach to the fast-paced event planning industry. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Just Right! specializes in providing tailored and highly personalized event management services, focusing primarily on client satisfaction and partnership. The company thrives on building meaningful relationships through collaboration, excellence, and balance, ensuring that every event they manage reflects their commitment to superior service quality and team well-being. Just Right! operates within the operations team structure, emphasizing a culture of inclusivity and continuous growth, proudly promoting equal opportunity employment without discrimination on any protected basis.\n\nThe Senior Event Manager role at Just Right! is a full-time position centered on leading complex, high-profile events from inception through on-site execution. This role demands a dynamic leader who excels at overseeing all aspects of event logistics, maintaining strong vendor and client relationships, and contributing to the mentorship and development of junior team members. The Senior Event Manager plays an integral part in delivering seamless event experiences by strategically collaborating with various internal departments to uphold operational excellence. As a Tier I status role, the position is designed for individuals either new to this level or the company, requiring role-specific training to develop greater expertise in managing large-scale events and supervising others efficiently.\n\nKey responsibilities include extensive event planning, on-site management directing staff and vendors, handling post-event financial processes such as invoicing and reconciliation, and creating proposals and transportation manifests when required. The Senior Event Manager also conducts site inspections to aid in sales and planning. This role fosters robust client communication, active listening, and ongoing engagement to understand client needs fully and promote upselling opportunities. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Just Right! pricing and service offerings is critical, alongside representing the company professionally in conversations with prospective clients and business decision-makers. Participation in onboarding and mentoring new team members highlights the leadership aspect of the role, alongside attendance at company functions, client meetings, and staff gatherings.\n\nThis position demands an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Meeting or Event Planning, or a closely related field, coupled with over five years of successful event management experience that spans events of varied sizes and complexities. Holding or working toward CMP certification or an equivalent designation is strongly favored. Exceptional communication skills, intermediate-to-advanced computing ability, superb organizational talent, and leadership finesse with the capacity to work well under pressure are essential. The role expects a highly motivated, self-starting professional comfortable with independent work and remote setups, requiring reliable home office technology including a personal computer, cell phone, and standard office equipment.\n\nWorking conditions are primarily remote, with occasional on-site tasks such as site inspections and client meetings that may expose the employee to environmental conditions like heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Physical requirements include the occasional need to lift up to 20 pounds and flexibility to work weekends or nights as necessary. Local driving using personal vehicles is also part of the role, necessitating current licensure and vehicle registration.\n\nCompensation includes a competitive benefits package emphasizing work-life balance through a generous Flex Time policy, comprehensive health benefits with full employer contributions, and inclusive dental and vision coverage. Life insurance coverage is provided, along with a 401(k) with a company match, supplemental benefits at the employee's cost, and potential profit sharing or bonuses at the company's discretion. Together, these offerings position the Senior Event Manager role as an attractive opportunity for an organized, driven individual eager to contribute meaningfully to a thriving events company committed to excellence, diversity, and employee wellness.
