The agency specializes in delivering cutting-edge marketing solutions, managing partnerships with major brands and talents worldwide. With offices strategically located in key cities including Stamford, CT; New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; and Atlanta, GA, Octagon supports a dynamic workforce that embraces both hybrid and onsite models to ensure seamless collaboration and client service. The company values its diverse team of playmakers who bring passion and creativity to the world of sports and entertainment, constantly evolving fan experiences and brand activations on a global scale.

The Senior Event Executive position at Octagon revolves around delivering premium hospitality experiences for a luxury automotive client with a strong presence in the golf and tennis sponsorship landscapes. This role, based primarily in one of Octagon's office locations, focuses on the meticulous planning and execution of event and experiential marketing programs related to the client's extensive golf partnerships, including the title sponsorship of a prestigious PGA TOUR event, and their professional men’s tennis tournament sponsorships. The Senior Event Executive will collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as the Hospitality Manager, Golf Experiential Director, and Tennis Experiential Director to craft exclusive, best-in-class brand experiences targeted at both consumers and internal stakeholders. The role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple hospitality programs, enhancing one's network within the sports industry while playing a pivotal role in event operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 4 years of relevant sports marketing and hospitality experience, particularly within sports event environments like professional and amateur golf. Strong communication skills are essential for guest-facing interactions, alongside proven operational knowledge in areas such as food and beverage service, hotel accommodations, guest lists, vendor management, and transportation logistics. The role demands an ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments, with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience in budget tracking will enable the executive to support comprehensive event management duties. Furthermore, flexibility with travel (20-45 percent domestically) and willingness to work weekends or holidays as required are essential to meet event demands.

This position is overtime-eligible and offers a salary of $50,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. Octagon is committed to equal opportunity and affirmative action, fostering an inclusive work environment where all candidates are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability, or protected veteran status. Candidates must be available for hybrid work with 2-3 days per week spent in one of the designated office locations. Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.
