Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years progressive experience in event planning and management preferably within hospitality or agency sectors
- strong negotiation and communication skills
- proficiency in event management software and office applications
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- strong commitment to client satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- at least 5 years of progressive experience in event planning and management
- bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- strong negotiation skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in event management software and standard office applications
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- developing event concepts and themes
- sourcing and managing venues, caterers, entertainment, and other suppliers
- creating detailed event schedules and floor plans
- coordinating logistics for all event components including AV, decor, and staffing
- overseeing event setup, execution, and breakdown
- managing event budgets and ensuring profitability
- handling client communications and feedback
- conducting post-event analysis and reporting
