Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior cleaning or custodial experience
- ability to use computers
- knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and chemicals
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to undergo drug screen and background check
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior custodial experience in healthcare environment preferred
- ability to use computer and knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals helpful
- strong customer service skills
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- yearly certification for AORN terminal cleaning if assigned
- yearly certification for pharmacy rooms per 797 standards if assigned
Job Duties
- work closely with environmental services leadership team to support daily operations
- ensure staff have necessary equipment and supplies for assignments
- respond to service requests promptly
- assist with training new and current staff
- perform minor equipment maintenance
- cover shifts during sick calls
- assist with quality assurance inspections and departmental projects
