Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Experience in hospitality finance preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex financial environments
  • Proficiency in GAAP and related compliance standards
  • Experience managing teams and fostering talent development
  • Availability for up to 40% domestic travel
  • Proficiency in strategic financial reporting and operational efficiency implementation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and strategic analysis
  • Prior experience as a hotel Director of Finance strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing ownership relations and reporting to executive boards or senior vice presidents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities or concerns
  • Strong financial acumen to evaluate financial statements and hotel performance
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive results, and hold others accountable
  • Experience in project management or oversight, particularly in implementing technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of hotel control environment and compliance with GAAP, Uniform System of Accounts, and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40%

Job Duties

  • Own all FP&A processes and solutions autonomously for developing annual operating and capital expenditure plans, forecasts, budgets, and internal audit controls
  • Provide strategic oversight across all facets of managed hotel finance
  • Lead team to identify areas for operational efficiencies and implement best practices aligned with organizational goals
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to communicate and execute financial strategies effectively
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and communication to senior management, owners, and authorities in compliance with agreements and regulations
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance teams including hotel-based operational finance teams
  • Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes professional growth and retention of top talent
