Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 24 months experience in brokerage, transportation, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle high work volume and time-sensitive tasks
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. Customs regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 24 months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with HTS classification and U.S. Customs regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to appropriate parties ensuring compliance with customs laws
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems delaying freight release or movement
  • Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers
  • Resolve banking and letter of credit issues
  • Advise customers on payment terms and obtain payment on delinquent accounts
  • Coordinate post-entry activities and manage entry verification process
