Job Requirements
- Three to five years of prior culinary experience preferred
- Ability to work full time with varying day and hour schedules
- Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- Capability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to work at SCAD Atlanta location
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications

- Ability to prepare food that is nutritious and properly flavored
- Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation regulations
- Experience operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate production records
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Capability to oversee and assist food service associates
Job Duties
- Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
- Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment after each use
- Perform scheduled routine cleaning
- Store, label, and date food items according to policy
- Maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records
- Complete required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned
- Assist in cross training of employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
