The Senior Cook position at SodexoMagic, located at Morehouse College, offers a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. This role involves preparing a variety of nutritious and appealing dishes while ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Senior Cooks are responsible for cooking, portioning, and presenting hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. This role requires proficiency in following complex recipes, producing small to large batch goods using classical and contemporary cooking techniques, and occasionally overseeing production staff by training and assigning tasks. The Senior Cook must also be punctual and maintain satisfactory attendance for scheduled shifts that typically fall in the afternoon and evening with varying days and rotating weekends.
