Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum five years of related experience in commercial lending support or a similar role
- proficient in loan processing and documentation
- ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- strong attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work onsite at the designated location
- familiarity with banking regulations including OFAC

- proficiency in loan documentation and funding software

Job Duties
- Provide commercial lending support to commercial relationship managers
- review and fund loans
- process and administer commercial loans including recording new loans and maintaining records
- obtain credit information and ensure sufficient loan collateral
- calculate loan items and charges such as interest and payments
- assist lending officers with fund disbursement and new loan extensions
- answer client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts and policies
- open new accounts and promote cross-selling
- prepare loan documents, notices, and periodic loan reports
- assist in maintaining relationship managers portfolios by clearing exceptions and assisting with past dues
- identify clients' operational needs and recommend bank products and services
- provide assistance to clients on loans, deposits, and other bank services
- authorize payment and fees of commercial client overdrafts
- approve and process commercial client withdrawals on lines of credit
- communicate with clients, attorneys, insurance companies, title companies and other professionals
- order appraisals, flood determinations, and UCC filings
- work closely with bankers, underwriters, loan closers, loan processing and legal documentation teams for loan closings
- train on loan documentation and funding platforms
- collaborate with bankers, underwriters and loan operations for ongoing loan monitoring
- coordinate with bankers, treasury management and deposit operations for monitoring depository accounts and services
- process wire requests for clients
- assist other administrative assistants and departments with support as needed
- perform all other duties as assigned
