This approach has helped build a motivated and dedicated workforce committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
The Catering Manager role at CMC Hotels is vital to the success of the catering department and the broader hospitality experience offered at their properties. This role involves overseeing the overall operations of the catering department, ensuring that all events from local business meetings to large weddings are executed flawlessly. The Catering Manager is responsible for supervising and training catering staff to maintain high service standards, selling and booking events to maximize revenue, and collaborating closely with chefs and clients to prepare bespoke menus tailored to each group's needs.
This position requires a proactive individual who can direct the catering sales effort, solicit new business from a variety of event clients, and respond effectively to inquiries. A strong focus on cost control and pricing ensures that events are profitable while delivering exceptional value to clients. Responsibility for overseeing outside vendors, ensuring the correct equipment is in place for each event, and maintaining adherence to hotel standards are also critical aspects of the role. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a team-driven environment that values hospitality, professionalism, and continuous improvement, supporting both the company’s and individual employees’ paths to success.
