The Senior Catering Cook role at Sodexo is a full-time position located at the Marine Biological Laboratory, with varying shifts including days, some weekends, and holidays. The pay range for this role is $22 to $28 per hour. This position is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who excel at preparing high-quality meals and leading kitchen operations. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered special events. You will apply advanced culinary skills, following complex recipes and utilizing both classical and contemporary cooking and plating techniques.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four or more years of related culinary experience preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts including days, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow complex recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Physical ability to perform cooking and kitchen tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented setting
Job Qualifications
- Four or more years of related work experience preferred

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events
- Follow complex recipes and product directions
- Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
- May have oversight over the production staff, train and assign tasks
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned, which can differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
