The Bar Server position at Bell's and New Belgium offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering top-notch customer service in a vibrant and dynamic setting. As a bar server, you will be the face of the brewery’s hospitality, responsible for engaging with patrons in a professional, polite, and welcoming manner to enhance their overall experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. You will be responsible for opening and closing bar duties, taking and serving food and alcohol orders, handling cash transactions accurately, and ensuring the bar area is well-stocked and clean.

This position is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy teamwork, as you will coordinate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service. The job also demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. The hourly rate starts at $9.00 plus tips, and full-time coworkers become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package after one calendar month of employment. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Prior bar or restaurant experience a plus
Friendly and welcoming customer service
Ability to multitask
Willingness and initiative to help out other employees with customers and service needs
Takes direction easily from co-workers and leaders or managers to deliver best customer experience
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 56.5 lbs and carry objects of this weight up to 100 feet
Ability to push or pull weights up to 50 lbs and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases
Must also show fine motor dexterity
Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead
The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking

Job Duties

Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons
Responsible for opening setup, closing duties, and cleaning projects
Serves and takes food and alcohol orders
Accurately tenders money and gives change for purchases made at the bar
Stocks bottled beer, soda and soda syrups, and inventory
Coordinate activities with team members to execute a smooth flowing experience for patrons
Other duties as assigned
