The university embraces a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion, offering its employees comprehensive benefits and fostering a collaborative work environment.

The Sr. Associate Director, Major Gifts is a crucial leadership role within MD Anderson's Individual Giving team, focused on securing extensive philanthropic support through major gifts. This position demands a highly skilled fundraising professional with a proven track record in managing major gift portfolios and executing individualized donor cultivation strategies. The officer will engage high net worth individuals nationwide, building and maintaining strong relationships to solicit and secure donations in excess of $100,000. The role requires strategic prospecting, personal solicitation, and partnership across the institution's leadership and faculty. Beyond individual donor engagement, this position includes leadership responsibilities, potentially overseeing a team of major gift officers to foster a productive, values-driven workforce.

This is a remote position enabling the selected candidate to work from any location while maintaining connectivity with team members and stakeholders through digital platforms. Scheduled collaboration during standard business hours is essential, along with occasional travel for in-person meetings. The salary range for this role is from $121,000 (minimum) to $155,000 (maximum), reflecting the seniority and expertise required.
