Sodexo Corporate Services is a global leader in providing comprehensive food service, facilities management, and integrated solutions designed to enhance the quality of life for both clients and their communities. With a presence across many countries, Sodexo prides itself on its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and inclusivity, aiming to create better everyday experiences for all stakeholders. The company values diversity and fosters an inclusive environment where employees’ ideas and opinions are respected, and where individuals can truly be themselves. Sodexo’s operations span a wide range of services including corporate dining, catering, micro-markets, office coffee services, and more, serving a clientele that ranges from small enterprises to large multinational corporations.
The current opportunity is for experienced culinary professionals to join Sodexo’s Culinary Talent Community as Senior Area Executive Chefs in Washington DC. This unique role is not tied to a single position but instead offers a chance to become part of a network of forward-thinking chefs who aim to drive innovation and excellence in multiple corporate accounts. As a Senior Area Executive Chef, you will take a leadership role in managing diverse food service operations including corporate cafés, micro-markets, office coffee services, and upscale catering programs. You will have the creative freedom to develop and refine menus that captivate guests, promote sustainability, and align with cutting-edge dining trends.
This position is designed for culinary leaders who thrive in fast-paced and dynamic work environments and who possess a passion for culinary innovation and impeccable guest service. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations and ordering processes, mentoring and inspiring a team of culinary professionals, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met. You will be instrumental in enhancing the dining experience for corporate employees, executives, and guests, supporting an environment that values culinary creativity and operational efficiency.
Sodexo offers this role with a weekday schedule of Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with some occasional evenings and rare weekend commitments. Compensation is competitive and equitable, tailored to the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and training. In addition to a rewarding career path, Sodexo provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision care, wellness programs, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, company holidays, career advancement opportunities, and tuition reimbursement.
Joining Sodexo means becoming part of a respected organization that not only prioritizes the professional growth and creative expression of its team members but also invests in their well-being and work-life balance. Whether you are looking to elevate your culinary career or embrace new challenges within a supportive and innovative company, Sodexo’s Senior Area Executive Chef community provides an excellent platform for growth and success. If you are an ambitious chef ready to make a meaningful impact at scale, Sodexo invites you to join their talent pipeline and be first in line for exciting culinary leadership opportunities in Washington DC.
