The Good Eating Company is an esteemed culinary organization operating at the cutting edge of food innovation, specializing in providing exceptional dining experiences within the corporate environment of Silicon Valley's tech hub. Partnered with a global technology firm headquartered in Mountain View, CA, The Good Eating Company is dedicated to advancing a "scratch-only" kitchen philosophy, emphasizing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. This approach ensures not only culinary excellence but also a sustainable, farm-to-table ethos that aligns with the values of today's conscientious consumers and the dynamic culture of the tech workforce it serves.
The company manages upscale cafes, high-end executive catering, and innovative micro-kitchens dispersed across a sprawling corporate campus, offering complimentary dining services to employees. Their mission is to enrich the daily lives of professionals by delivering top-tier food and hospitality that nurtures creativity and innovation. The Good Eating Company operates with a focus on quality and experience, elevating the standard of corporate dining from mere sustenance to an integral part of employee well-being and productivity.
In the role of Sr. Area Executive Chef, based at the Mountain View location, you will be at the helm of this culinary innovation. This position demands a visionary leader who not only masters culinary arts but also thrives in mentoring a diverse and talented team. Directly overseeing three Executive Chefs, a Purchasing Manager, and a team of 35 culinary professionals, this senior role enforces quality governance and strategic culinary oversight to maintain the company’s high standards. The Sr. Area Executive Chef is charged with managing seasonal ingredient sourcing, precision inventory controls, and culinary operations with the precision befitting a technology-driven environment.
This role emphasizes hands-on leadership combined with strategic planning, innovation adoption, and a passion for ethnic and regional cuisines that reflect a global perspective. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and mentor, ready to foster a culture of cooperation, sustainability, and culinary excellence. The Sr. Area Executive Chef will leverage cutting-edge technology in inventory and kitchen management, aligning culinary operations with the rigorous demands of a high-tech campus renowned for breakthrough AI developments.
Additionally, this role encapsulates the company's commitment to inclusivity and fairness, providing an environment that respects diversity and ensures equal opportunity. The Good Eating Company values creativity, leadership, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality experiences that shape the future of corporate dining.
Compensation is competitive and depends on experience, education, and skill level, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) plans, and career growth opportunities. This role is perfect for culinary professionals passionate about redefining food service in a forward-thinking, tech-savvy environment while leading a best-in-class team dedicated to excellence.
