Job Requirements

Be 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience in retail customer service or sales environment
Ability to operate front end equipment
Availability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to use both hands to move grocery carts
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Dependable and reliable with positive attitude

Job Qualifications

Be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have previous experience in retail customer service or sales environment with 1-2 years cashier experience preferred
Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
Ability to operate front end equipment including register calculator scanner
Be dependable and flexible to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
Possess good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs for distances up to 3 feet
Ability to use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and math skills

Job Duties

Oversee self-checkout units ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
Assist customers with scanning weighing bagging and payment processes ensuring smooth operations
Serve multiple customers simultaneously and anticipate issues before they arise
Answer questions and resolve issues related to scanning weighing payment and large items
Monitor scanning activity to ensure accuracy
Invite customers to use self-checkout lanes especially during peak times
Maintain clean and orderly self-checkout areas and execute related duties
Thank customers as they leave the self-checkout area
Stay informed about weekly ads promotions and product locations to assist customers
