Job Requirements

Must complete the "Becoming SCO Pro certified" training course
Must maintain Alcohol Seller/Server Certification
Must have previous experience as a cashier
Must be able to multitask and assist multiple guests at one time
Must be able to initiate conversations with guests
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)
Must be available to work during the hours of self checkout operations
Ability to work at fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
Ability to perform all physical aspects of checker/sacker/stocker duties including but not limited to bending, lifting, walking, squatting, climbing and at times running
Ability to operate all checking equipment, keep accurate records, count money and make change
Ability to lift to a height of 4 feet, items weighing up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

Completion of the "Becoming SCO Pro certified" training course
Maintenance of Alcohol Seller/Server Certification
Previous experience as a cashier
Ability to multitask and assist multiple guests simultaneously
Ability to initiate conversations with guests
Capability to stand for long periods (up to 6 hours)
Availability to work during self checkout operation hours
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to perform checker/sacker/stocker duties including bending, lifting, walking, squatting, climbing, and running
Proficiency in operating checking equipment, keeping accurate records, counting money, and making change
Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs to a height of 4 feet regularly
Willingness to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
Ability to function well as a team member and maintain positive relationships with others

Job Duties

Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests upon entering the self checkout area
Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
Follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook
Greet and communicate politely to each guest on premises
Ensure guests have a positive experience while using the self checkout registers
Be attentive at all times to the needs of guests and ready to assist
Monitor that all items are scanned correctly at the register
Properly ID customers per company policy when purchasing alcohol or tobacco products
Encourage guest participation in satisfaction survey
Encourage guest participation in rewards program
Encourage guest participation in promotional programs when applicable
Monitor condition of registers including cleanliness and supplies
Learn procedures for walk-offs, voids, overrides, and other interventions
Record and troubleshoot issues with self checkout registers
Perform other duties as directed by management
