Job Requirements

  • Two to five years experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent
  • Possess a valid racing license
  • Ability to manage security operational effectiveness
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Emergency Disaster Plan Manual
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility for shift performance

  • Demonstrated management abilities in managing security operational effectiveness
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual
  • Ability to maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift

Job Duties

  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers
  • Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Develop staff by evaluating and training through designing training programs
  • Assist with interviewing and selection
  • Investigate incidents and customer complaints compiling data for accurate reporting
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift
  • Meet with directors and managers as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
