Job Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to undergo background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Ability to pass a drug screen as required by law
  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • Willingness to participate in security-related training programs

Job Qualifications

  • Possess an armed guard card or license
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as directed
  • Use proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts and support operations across various environments
