Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two years military or civilian security or law enforcement experience
- BLS certification upon hire
- Valid state driver’s license
- IAHSS Basic certification required within 45 days of employment
- Successful completion of Taser Training Program if location requires taser use
- Completion of CPI de-escalation training within 180 days
- Ability to perform data entry
- Good physical condition to walk run and lift as needed
- Acceptable driving record according to PeaceHealth Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
Job Qualifications

- Healthcare facility security experience preferred
- BLS certification upon hire
- IAHSS Basic certification within 45 days of employment
- Completion of CPI de-escalation training within 180 days of employment
- Valid state driver’s license
- Successful completion of Taser Training Program if required by location
Job Duties
- Provide safety and security services including patrolling grounds parking lots and buildings
- Secure entryways and exits checking for violations and property damage
- Respond to all emergency codes including disaster command center protocols
- Perform crowd control during patient and visitor influx events
- Provide escort and stand-by protection services for caregivers and patients
- Coordinate with local law enforcement for emergency and incident protocols
- Maintain documentation and monitor visitor permits with computerized badge door systems
