Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to submit to background investigation
- minimum 3 to 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access control
- state guard license required
- pass regulated drug test where required
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to push, pull, carry, lift up to 50 lbs
- normal or corrected vision
- ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as needed

Job Duties
- Control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
- patrol buildings and perimeters
- log visitors and vehicles
- escort material and personnel
- inspect security and fire exposures
- perform special assignments
- report daily activities and irregularities
- maintain professional image and customer service
- monitor surveillance equipment
- respond to alarms and emergencies
- communicate security updates to supervisors
- complete incident and activity reports
- enforce compliance with safety guidelines
