Job Requirements
- Must have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming, and testing
- Completion of Electronic Technician program or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass driving background check
Job Qualifications
- Completion of Electronic Technician program or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- IT standards and network topology experience preferred
- Experience implementing analog, hybrid, and IP CCTV systems
- Knowledge of local and national codes
- Ability to program micro-processor based systems
- Proficient in MS operating systems and PC hardware configuration
- Experience in construction industry and management preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting on intrusion alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intercom, network infrastructure
- Perform installation and verification activities on security equipment for large installations including testing and commissioning
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications
- Complete "As Built" drawings upon project completion
- Complete reports for submission to customers and carry out system acceptance tests with AHJs and other parties
- Maintain up to date knowledge of product lines
- Consult with clients to assess risk and determine security requirements
- Participate in rotation on-call schedule
