The role of Flex Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services, based in Visalia, California, is a dynamic and vital position designed to support the overall security team through adaptability and reliability. As a Flex Security Officer, you will be expected to work across various locations and shifts, including day, swing, and overnight shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. Your flexibility will be key in covering for call-offs, vacations, and providing additional coverage where needed. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in varied environments and enjoy the challenge of adapting quickly to new settings and situations. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19 per hour, with the option of DailyPay for immediate access to earned wages. The employment type is flexible to accommodate the variable scheduling needs that come with the job.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of premises by monitoring activities, conducting patrols, controlling access points, and verifying identities. You will respond promptly to incidents or potential threats, maintaining composure and professionalism. You will also provide excellent customer service, recognizing the importance of public relations in security roles, and writing detailed reports on any events or incidents encountered during your shifts. Collaboration with authorities in serious situations is a critical part of the job, requiring quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This position is suited for individuals who already have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings or are willing to obtain these during the hiring process. A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations. Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
