Security Event Coordinator

The Security Event Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with a team of colleagues to schedule event-based security staff for all games, concerts and events at Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, Pine Knob Music Theater, Meadow Brook Amphitheater and Michigan Lottery Amphitheater at Freedom Hill through the use of web-based scheduling software (Aware Manager). In addition to scheduling staff for games, concerts and events, will also schedule staff for private events occurring at all venues, 24/7 venue security shifts, and special security details that may arise last minute. Also responsible for working with Security Event Managers and Event Coordinators to determine event call times, early staffing positions and load-in/load-out staffing. Gathers event-based crowd manager availability on a monthly basis and communicates with crowd managers regarding the events that they are scheduled to work. Revises event staffing based upon call offs or changes to staffing needs for a particular event. During events, The Security Event Coordinator responds to event-related incidents, which occur in the area and works with the Event Security Managers to resolve any security-related issues. This role provides event security and safety services to all Ilitch Sports + Entertainment venues.
