The role open at St. Moritz Security Services is for an unarmed security officer located in Florence, KY. This is a part-time position covering weekend shifts from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The position involves various responsibilities centered around monitoring and securing designated premises while ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for visitors, employees, and contractors.

The unarmed security officer will be tasked with customer service duties including greeting guests, verifying identification, managing access control, and helping with front desk operations such as visitor sign-in and badge issuance. Officers are expected to monitor public areas such as lobbies and reception zones, detect and report any unusual activity or security concerns, and maintain detailed reports of all incidents. They must demonstrate calm and effective communication in emergency and critical situations, working closely with site contacts and emergency personnel.

Applicants must have valid driver’s licenses, wear appropriate safety footwear such as steel-toed shoes, and preferably have experience with access control systems and customer service. Comfort with technology, including computers or tablets, is also desirable. Candidates should be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass all required background and drug screenings in accordance with applicable laws.
