Job Requirements
- Must have at least one year of security, law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must have valid driver's license and ability to travel within Mississippi
- ability to work independently and follow directions thoroughly
- punctual and excellent attendance required
- ability to manage multiple competing assignments
- must maintain necessary state and local licenses
- able to write clear and concise reports
- professional demeanor and communication skills
- ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- three to five years of professional-level experience in the security industry
- valid driver's license with clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience
- energetic and focused personality with ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- ability to write effective, concise reports and maintain neat legible handwriting
- professional and articulate with good independent judgment and discretion
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- ability to interact successfully with all organizational levels and clients
- familiarity with licensing requirements and ability to maintain compliance
Job Duties
- Perform day and night site visits to inspect and supervise Security Professionals in the field
- address escalation of after hours and cold start calls to ensure sufficient coverage at customer sites
- work with Operations Managers to coach, counsel, discipline, train, and manage relationships with Security Professionals
- visit assigned post locations regularly to monitor performance, communicate policy changes, adjust staffing schedules, and conduct post inspections
- conduct on-the-job training and orientation for new employees or when post orders change
- respond to call-offs during shifts and assist with scheduling changes
- identify personnel problems and forward issues to management or HR, assist with investigations as needed
- may execute counseling or disciplinary actions as directed by management
- distribute information to posts as directed and obtain necessary acknowledgements
- respond to client or site emergencies promptly
- identify qualified personnel to fill abandoned or open posts and stand post as needed
- maintain all current BSIS licenses and stay knowledgeable about posts within the regional area of responsibility
