Warner Bros. Studio Operations is seeking a dedicated 2nd Cook to join its Food Services department. This role is integral to supporting the daily operations of the Commissary and Special Events catering, guaranteeing that all food preparation and service standards are met with excellence and in compliance with health regulations. The 2nd Cook will work under the direction of First Cooks, assisting with cooking diverse menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety is paramount at all times.

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant
  • Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, carrying, and maneuvering weights over 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food for the Food Services department including Commissary and Special Events

  • Properly close, wrap, label, and clean work areas in accordance with Food Services and health department protocols
