Job Requirements
- Must have 2 to 5 years cooking experience in high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant
- Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate is required
- Must have good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical exertion such as standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and maneuvering weights up to 50+ lbs
- Must be able to work a standard shift of approximately 8 hours per day plus a 30-minute paid meal break with a minimum of 6 hours worked
Job Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant
- Ability to prep a grill, saute, cook, and prepare sauces in a fast-paced environment
- Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, lift, carry, and maneuver weights up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve food for Food Services including Commissary and Special Events
- Assist at stations in the Commissary ensuring a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace
- Support and follow instructions from First Cooks
- Properly close, wrap, label, and clean work areas in accordance with Food Services and health department protocols
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in all food preparation areas
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
