Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in event serving or hospitality
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Valid MAST permit
- Valid food workers permit
- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- Passion for wine
- Commitment to at least 2 events per month
- Must be 21 years or older
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an event server or server in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits including basic wine tasting and pairing techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Valid MAST permit
- Valid food workers permit
- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- Passion for wine and a desire to share that passion with others
- Can commit to 2 events per month when needed
- Age 21 and over
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Setup and breakdown of event space including transportation of materials to event
- Provide exceptional service to guests during events including wine and food service
- Engage customers in storytelling about wineries and WeRise Wines accurately representing the brand
- Possess strong knowledge of wine to provide excellent recommendations and storytelling
- Efficiently serve food and beverages ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor even under pressure
- Work collaboratively with the event team to ensure seamless execution
