Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving property
  • inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest
  • identify and explain room features to guests
  • transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell area
  • assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
  • supply guests with directions
  • arrange transportation for guests and record advance requests
  • communicate parking procedures to guests
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • welcome and acknowledge guests
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • read and visually verify information
  • move at required speed to respond to work situations
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance
  • move over uneven or slippery surfaces and up/down stairs and ramps
  • reach overhead and below knees
  • perform other requested job duties
