The role available at The Resort at Pelican Hill's spa is a Full-Time, Non-Management position offering a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour. This position is not remote, requiring candidates to work on-site to provide personalized and attentive service to guests. As a Spa Attendant, the successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests upon arrival, guiding them to spa lockers and treatment rooms, and offering amenities such as water, juice, or heated neck pillows. This role requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including treatment rooms, spa lockers, and hospitality stations. Additionally, the attendant will assist with scheduling updates, stocking towels and supplies, safeguarding spa products and equipment, and reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions promptly to management. The attendant acts as the face of the spa, providing courteous and professional interactions with guests, anticipating their service needs, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. This role demands physical activity, including standing, walking, stretching, bending, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of related work experience
  • ability to physically perform job duties including lifting up to 10 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner
  • compliance with company policies and procedures
  • availability to work full time on-site
  • willingness to complete safety training and obtain necessary certifications

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent such as General Educational Development (GED)
  • three years of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to maintain professional appearance
  • knowledge of spa or hospitality environments preferred
  • ability to work collaboratively in team settings

Job Duties

  • Provide general spa advice to arriving guests such as locker location and usage
  • offer guests amenities including water, juice, or heated neck pillows
  • respond to general questions about hotel information and amenities
  • escort guests to and from treatment rooms
  • regularly check computer for scheduling updates and changes throughout the day
  • maintain cleanliness in workstations, treatment rooms, spa lockers, beauty salon, and salon areas
  • dispose of waste and place soiled linens in designated areas
  • secure products and equipment at the end of each shift
  • replenish towels, linens, products, and amenities in lockers, salons, and hospitality stations
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • complete safety trainings and obtain certifications
  • comply with company policies and procedures
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company property
  • anticipate and address guest service needs with genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • foster and maintain positive working relationships
  • adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards
  • perform physical activities including stretching, bending, twisting, crawling, and stooping
  • move, lift, or transport objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
