The role offered is a full-time, non-management position within the spa category at The Resort at Pelican Hill. Ideal candidates will be engaged in delivering exceptional spa services and hospitality support, acting as a liaison between the spa facilities and the guests. Compensation for this role is set at a competitive rate of $18.50 per hour, reflecting the commitment to attract dedicated professionals. Working in this role involves welcoming guests, providing essential information about spa amenities, and ensuring their comfort with refreshments like water, juice, or thermal neck pillows. The position includes escorting guests to treatment rooms, keeping workspaces and spa areas clean and orderly, managing inventory such as towels and products, and adhering to safety protocols by reporting accidents and unsafe conditions. Employees will participate in safety training and certifications to uphold a secure working environment while maintaining the company's presentation and uniform standards.

The spa service team member is also expected to anticipate guest needs proactively and foster positive relationships by communicating clearly and professionally with both guests and colleagues. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Willingness to complete safety training and obtain certifications

  • Professional appearance and personal hygiene

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED)
  • Three years of relevant work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No licensing or certification required

Job Duties

  • Provide general spa advice to guests upon arrival such as locker location and use, salon areas and hospitality stations
  • Offer guests amenities like water, juice or thermal neck pillows
  • Respond to general questions about hotel information and amenities
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms
  • Regularly check computer updates and scheduling changes throughout the day
  • Maintain cleanliness in work station, treatment rooms, spa lockers or beauty salon and salon areas
  • Dispose of waste and place dirty linens in appropriate area
  • Secure products and equipment at the end of each shift
  • Stock lockers, salon areas and hospitality stations with towels, linens, products and amenities
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to the manager
  • Complete safety training and obtain certifications
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform
  • Protect company assets
  • Anticipate guest service needs and address them with genuine appreciation
  • Use clear and professional language when speaking with others
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others
