Job Requirements

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Frequent walking, standing, and skating
Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
May be required to physically assist guests in case of falls or emergencies

Job Qualifications

Strong ice-skating ability
Prior customer service or recreation experience is a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy, public-facing environment
A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Committed to guest safety, accessibility, and inclusion
Ability to work in the cold and warm weather conditions
AED/CPR certified

Job Duties

Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Assist skaters safely on and off the ice
Help guests who fall or need support while skating
Provide information about rink rules, park amenities, and skating guidelines
Observe skaters to encourage safe behavior and enforce rink policies
Respond to minor incidents and report injuries or concerns to the Skate Host Leader or Operations Team
Support cleanliness and organization in warming tents, rental areas, and guest zones
Distribute and collect rental skates and helmets, ensuring proper fit and function
Assist with crowd control, guest flow, and line management during peak times
Participate in setup, operation, and cleanup for special events and group programs
Help create a fun, inclusive, and festive atmosphere during themed or high-traffic sessions
Complete other job responsibility and duties as assigned
