Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to comply with Park District policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Customer service orientation
- Knowledge of park rules and natural resource conservation principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide leadership to an assigned shift to ensure high quality visitor experiences
- Ensure compliance with Park District policies and procedures
- Supervise and support seasonal staff during shifts
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate daily operations and activities within the park
- Maintain safety standards and promote a positive work environment
- Assist with training and mentoring seasonal employees
