A key responsibility is restocking beverages post-events and assisting with inventory management and beverage storeroom organization. The Barback plays a crucial role in assisting bartenders and beverage servers by stocking service areas, cleaning and preparing glassware, transporting food trays, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of bars and related service areas. This position requires the individual to work closely with team members to promote seamless service delivery. Monthly inventory participation and daily collaboration with captains on event reviews are essential duties, along with preparing mixers, garnishes, and setting up all necessary bar service items. The Barback must ensure a polished, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues, promoting an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. This role demands physical stamina as it involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and requires a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
