Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years or older
  • availability for flexible work schedules including seasonal and business trend adjustments
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • capability to move and lift up to 40 lbs frequently
  • ability to work in an active retail environment
  • adherence to local, state, and federal laws regarding work eligibility and schedule

Job Qualifications

  • No specific education required (high school diploma or GED preferred)
  • 2 or less years of experience in a relevant position
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
  • experience engaging consumers and selling merchandise
  • skill operating inventory and point of sales (POS) systems and various retail software tools
  • 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Engages consumers in personalized conversation to understand their needs and preferences
  • leverages product knowledge to make product recommendations and answer consumer questions
  • use selling techniques and product features and benefits to influence buying decisions
  • acts as a brand ambassador sharing company brand story and embodying company values to enhance consumer experience
  • merchandises products and tells compelling product stories that influence consumer buying decisions
  • restocks and maintains sales floor standards to ensure full product presentations and accessibility
  • performs required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately while engaging consumers
  • contributes to store inventory accuracy by processing incoming and outgoing products
  • acquires knowledge of store policies, procedures, and programs to execute day-to-day operations
