Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 15 to 35 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
  • Must comply with state-mandated clearances to supervise minors where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)

Job Duties

  • Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards
  • Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment)
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information
  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
