Job Requirements
- must be at least sixteen (16) years or older
- retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladder equipment
- availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- capable of performing physical labor associated with the role
- able to work in a climate-controlled retail setting with occasional outdoor and non-climate-controlled stock areas
- must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to complete physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to learn company policies and procedures
- basic cash handling skills
Job Duties
- help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- execute cash handling to standards
- engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
- perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance
- interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
- cross trained in custom framing selling and production
- other duties as assigned
