Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to operate POS system
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Full-time associates must have open availability to meet business needs
Part-time associates must be available a minimum of 15 hours per week including two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts
Availability required for annual inventory and holiday season
Weekend availability must be on two separate days

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to operate POS system
Proven ability to exceed sales goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently

Job Duties

Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and your teammates
Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using appropriate price overrides when necessary
Manage all aspects of customer expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes and delivery
Affirm the client’s purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
Ensure client is aware of all promotions that may impact sales
Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events and workshops that enhance the customer experience
Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
Maximize all resources available to get the customer what they want and resolve any issues
Perform other duties as assigned by management and comply with all company policies and procedures
Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect in accordance with our People-First Philosophy
