This particular role is a seasonal, part-time position that plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the bar and beverage service area. Job Requirements
- Must have at least one year or more of experience in a full-service restaurant with food and beverage experience
- Ability to stand for eight hours continuously
- Ability to walk or stand approximately ninety percent of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds regularly
- Ability to work flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in full-service restaurant and food and beverage service
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service
- Familiarity with industry relevant point of sales systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to practice and adhere to all safety requirements
- Flexibility to work days nights and weekends
- Second language desirable
Job Duties
- Set up clean and prepare bar area for the start of business
- Stock garnishes ice mixers and glassware replenishing as necessary
- Prepare garnishes for drinks replenishing snacks while clearing tableware for bar patrons
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support the bartender for drink preparation
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters sinks utensils shelves and storage area
- Restock and replenish bar inventory as directed by the Bartender or Bar Manager
- Practice cleanliness and safety in all bar areas liquor and wine storage areas
- Transport all dirty tableware from bar area to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- Participate in daily staff meetings and department training meetings
- Assist team members as needed to promote a teamwork environment
