This particular position is located within the heart of California's famed wine country at a prestigious Four Seasons resort nestled in a world-class vineyard in Napa Valley. We are currently hiring for a Seasonal Private Bar Attendant / Mini Bar Attendant position, which is a temporary role active from April through October. The role is full-time and requires flexibility to accommodate shifts across early mornings, mid-day, and evenings to support around-the-clock hotel operations. The hourly rate for this non-tipped role is $21.63. This position is an integral part of the In Room Dining team and contributes significantly to maintaining the high standards of guest service associated with the Four Seasons brand.

As a Private Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining minibars in guest rooms. This includes checking inventory, replenishing items, ensuring proper display and expiration dates, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Your role is pivotal in enhancing guest satisfaction by promptly addressing minibar-related requests and inquiries, maintaining accurate records of minibar consumption, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged items to the In Room Dining Manager. Additionally, you will assist with ordering replenishments and generating daily activity reports to support seamless minibar operations.

This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will collaborate closely with the In Room Dining Manager and other team members to ensure that every guest enjoys impeccable and personalized service. The role demands physical stamina as you will be required to push carts weighing over 50 pounds and maintain accuracy in counting and recording minibar items. This position is not eligible for work sponsorship or visa; candidates must have valid US work authorization.

  • Ability to push carts with push/pull force of 50+ lbs
  • Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed

Job Duties

  • Regularly check and replenish minibars in guest rooms, ensuring a diverse selection of beverages and snacks
  • Verify proper display and expiration dates for all items in the minibar, maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Address guest requests for minibar refills promptly and assist with inquiries about minibar offerings
  • Prioritize guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, addressing concerns, and maintaining accurate records of minibar consumption
  • Monitor minibar inventory levels, order replenishments as needed and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies
  • Generate daily reports on minibar activities, covering sales, consumption, and restocking needs
  • Promptly report any damaged or missing items to the In Room Dining Manager
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and alcohol service regulations
  • Collaborate with the In Room Dining Manager and team members to ensure seamless guest services
  • Stay adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the hotel and its guests
