Omni Louisville Hotel is currently seeking a Pool Barback, a vital role within their food and beverage team, especially for the peak season. This is a seasonal position tailored for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working in a dynamic team environment. The Pool Barback is responsible for assisting with the setup, maintenance, and operation of bar and restaurant areas by coordinating closely with the Front of House team. This role involves tasks ranging from organizing banquet spaces to replenishing supplies and ensuring clean, inviting environments for all guests. - Able to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to stand, sit, walk, squat, reach and lean during the course of daily business
- Previous experience as a bar back or hotel houseman in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Assist in the setup, organizing, and breakdown of banquets, events, restaurant, and bar spaces
- Collaborate with Front of House team to ensure seamless service
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Transport food, beverage, liquor, kegs, and cases, along with other bar related items, between storage and service areas
- Assist in the replenishment of supplies during events and throughout business workday
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly make management/supervisor aware of any concerns or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining areas, storage areas, bars, and kitchen areas
