Job Requirements
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the restaurant to another
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
- Must be able to use step ladder
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certification
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training with Certification
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced and professional environment
- Previous experience as bartender, lead bartender or server/bartender in a high-volume craft cocktail forward establishment
- Proven success of champion of the culture, facilitating excellent communication and engagement
- Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
- Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive
Job Duties
- Set up the mise en place for the featured cocktails
- Ensure the bar is stocked up
- Inform the manager when items run low
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated at the pool or bar
- Clear bar area after guests leave, take tableware to the dish room, and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
- Respond immediately and appropriately to guest requests
- Communicate with server and host to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and guest service
- Thank guests as they are leaving
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation
- Be a team player
- help out fellow staff whenever possible
- Fill up other bar roles as needed including pool and Lobby Bars
