As a Bartender at Poza, you will be more than just someone who serves drinks; you will be an artist shaping the energy and ambiance of the rooftop experience. This role demands precision, creativity, and passion for mixology, as you craft handcrafted cocktails with style and consistency. You will be responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of Poza's beverage program, including the cocktail menu, wine selections, and food offerings to engage guests meaningfully. Delivering impeccable service with warmth, you will personalize interactions to make every guest’s visit special and memorable.
The Bartender will ensure that the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and efficiently operated throughout each shift. Collaboration with the service team is vital for smooth and timely drink delivery, contributing to an overall exceptional guest experience. Strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, including responsible alcohol service, is a crucial part of this role. This position offers hourly pay of $21.50 and is a tipped role. It is an excellent opportunity for bartenders who have at least two years of experience in luxury or lifestyle cocktail bar settings and possess a deep knowledge of spirits, wines, sake, beer, and both classic and contemporary cocktails. Strong guests service and communication skills, professional appearance, punctuality, multitasking abilities, and flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are essential attributes for success. Although not required, mixology or sommelier certifications will be considered a plus.
