Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in relevant fields preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with pallet jacks preferred
- Ability to lift 40-55 pounds repetitively
- Ability to stand and walk long periods
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Driving record within policy guidelines
- Insurance meeting company requirements
- 18 years or older
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to obtain business use classification on insurance
- Acceptable driving record within company policy guidelines
- Weekend availability
- Early start time of 5 am
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
- Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 40-55 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements
Job Duties
- Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores
- Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs
- Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment
- Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines
- Set up promotional displays and signage to attract customer attention and drive sales
- Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space
- Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock
- Operate manual and powered handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.)
- Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel
- Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service to address any inquiries or concerns
